Less expensive battery

OK...I've run my battery down one too many times so it's time for a new one. I know there is a thread somewhere down the list that mentioned a replacement battery that could be used instead of the factory battery that cost half as much. Does anyone know about this off hand? If so, do you have a brand, part#, or model #?
